Raised in Arizona and now calling Lakeland, Florida home, I've spent most of my life chasing stories. Sometimes through books, sometimes through adventures outdoors, and for the last decade and beyond, through a camera lens.
My love for photography started when I was sixteen. What began as a high school photography class quickly turned into an obsession. I spent my time experimenting with film, learning how light worked, and discovering how powerful a single image could be. Photography was never just about taking pictures for me. It was about preserving a feeling, a memory, or a moment that would otherwise pass by unnoticed.
As life grew busier with marriage, motherhood, and raising three energetic boys, photography remained a constant thread woven throughout it all. In 2023, I decided to stop treating it as something I loved on the side and fully dedicate myself to building a business centered around what matters most to me: people and their stories.
These days, I'm a wife, a mom to three boys, and the photographer behind Memories by Cassidy. Most of my time is spent balancing family life, cheering from the sidelines at soccer games, exploring nature with my crew, and finding ways to preserve the moments that seem to pass by far too quickly.

You'll probably leave your session feeling like we're friends.
I talk too much. I have approximately seventeen ideas at any given moment. I get excited when the light hits just right. I'll fix your hair, fluff your dress, chase your toddler, and celebrate when your husband actually smiles for the camera. I say strange things without realizing it, and I'm usually moving so much during a session that it's a miracle my knees still cooperate.
But all of that comes from a place of genuinely caring.
I know what it's like to be the mom who's always behind the camera instead of in front of it. I know how quickly children grow, how fast seasons of life change, and how easy it is to put off taking photos because you're waiting for the "perfect" time. The truth is, the perfect time is usually right now.
Whether you're celebrating an engagement, welcoming a new baby, documenting your family as it is today, or simply wanting photographs that feel like you, my goal is to create an experience that feels relaxed, comfortable, and real. No pressure to be perfect. No stiff poses that don't feel natural. Just genuine connection and moments you'll want to remember years from now.
When I'm not photographing families and couples, you'll usually find me at a soccer field, exploring a nature trail with my family, reading a romantasy novel long past bedtime, playing video games with my boys, or working alongside my husband in our real estate photography and drone business.
At the end of the day, photography isn't really about photographs.
It's about preserving the people you love, the season you're living in, and the memories you'll one day wish you could revisit.
